I'm not sure about the dish, but the daffodils are nice. Maybe negative space is not all it is cracked up to be.
This was the thing I found the hardest to wrap my mind around when I dabbled in watercolor: painting a white object. But isn't it interesting how even a white dish has so many color variations when we look closely?
