Several years ago, these twigs came into the house as part of a flower arrangement, and they've been in the dining room ever since. They join garden flowers in season and stand alone the rest of the time.

funny how that works. I do the same thing. With twigs, and with baby's breath - which dries so nicely. Years later, I'm amazed to think: "Oh yeah! That was ____ years ago when I got the flowers for ______ that those bits arrived."
Ah... so glad I'm not the only one!
