My museum drawing project will be concluding a week from today, Saturday, June 30th. I can't quite believe it, but I've been making daily drawings in response to the Carnegie Museum of Art and Carnegie Museum of Natural History since the first of October. To celebrate the conclusion of the project, I invite any reader in the Pittsburgh area to meet me at the fountain entrance to the Museum of Art on Saturday at 11:00 in the morning. Bring a pencil and your favorite notebook and we can draw in the museum together. (And if drawing is not your thing, come write poetry, doodle, take photographs (where permitted :-) or otherwise keep me company.) We can spend a couple of hours and then go out for a late lunch. Thanks - I look forward to meeting you.

Daily calendar drawings are a really fun way to make sure you do something daily! Your calendar looks great! I am just a bout finished with june and will post it in a few days.
what a nice idea. I have writers write everyday.. I am thinking of using your website as a place for them to get some inspiration.
Being fairly new to your blog I had no idea you were doing this, but I am so glad to have found it now. Even tho I still have quite a bit of catching up to do I am really enjoying looking at all your days of drawing. It must have been a very rewarding project for you to do. Congratulations on completing it so successfully.
How I wish I could meet you next Saturday for a date to create! Could you, for those of us who will be there with you in spirit, possibly post the drawings or write a little about what happens on the date? I do hope a few blogger friends show up.
Hi! I heard you on the Saturday Light Brigade and I love your journal and your projects! It has inspired me to start my own sketch-a-day journal (and start sketching again in the first place). I would absolutely love to meet you next Saturday, but of course my husband is working and I'll be home with my two little girls. I'll look forward to reading about it and seeing sketches...and maybe if you do another sketchcrawl or something I can join you for that. Thanks!
Thank you all.
lilalia - I will post a sampling of the drawings, if I can, and definitely post a little report on the event.
Melissa - My daughter (age 6 and a half) will probably be with me. If you think your daughters would like to come along, by all means bring them!
Liz, I'm going to try to be there. Umm, is the fountain entrance the entrance on Forbes?
