Child's scissors, drawn in blind contour - no looking at the paper. I looked at it and then added gouache afterwards.

wow - I haven't thought about blind contour in decades! back in the 70s when I was able to manage a class in drawing, we had to do 6 18 x 24 blind contour drawings a week. It certainly did teach me how to "look" at things more carefully!
This is wonderful, as always.
