Boots on the floor. Fuzzy enough inside to be comfortable without socks, and this winter has been so mild that they are scarcely necessary. No snow to speak of. Yet.

oh, snow. we are having mosquitos in january and the promise of 60+ degrees this weekend. In Maryland for goodness sake! I wonder if we will ever see snow again or if I have to move NE of DC to get it (maybe to the mountains...or Western MD. So. MD has become so, well, southern!)

Here we are in Argentina and boots are the farthest thing from our minds. It is 80 degrees, humid and SUMMER! But I can imageine them in your front hall just waiting for snow.
