The line of trees just beyond the soccer field this afternoon - a warm day. Felt good to take off my work jacket and listen to the sounds of practice, letting my eyes focus on color after a day of words. Gouache.

Liz, this is so wonderful. Your loose and supple brush marks make this look more like an oil sketch than one done in gouache. You've inspired me to try an all-gouache painting sometime soon. I especially note and like the blues showing through the tree on the far left side.
