Even though it was close to midnight when we arrived, I could see enough of the water to want to draw it.

This is so wonderfully peaceful. I can get lost in the thick color. Very rich. :)
Thanks. It was one of those nights when the air feels thick and mysterious, and it isn't until you stare into the darkness that you begin to see colors in it. The watercolor is more translucent - the night was almost opaque.
