I just discovered your blog and I love your journal. I hope you will keep posting the pages. I have a problem leaving white space. I want to fill every bit of it. You seem to have mastered it. I think your coffee cup page is one of my favorites. The wooden spoons page also stands out to me. I like the sketch and the way you put the words on the page.
Thanks, Dawn.
Your comment means so much - especially coming from the keeper of "On the banks of Bay Creek" - I have bookmarked your weblog and keep coming back to enjoy your images and collages. Have you read Hannah Hinchman's book, The Illuminated Journal? That encouraged me to play with lettering and text. I find it a great complement to Gwen Diehn's Decorated Page.
I am trying to teach myself to draw this year by sketching something every day - am amazed at what now seems possible (or at least worth trying). Thanks for the encouragement!
