tulips

On the mend and able once again to take an interest in what's around me. With Valentine's day and then flowers from a party on Saturday - the house is full of blooms - I just haven't been downstairs in three days to appreciate them.

Lovely painting. Are you using watercolor with a brush? I'd be interested in your tools.
Thanks again. Lovely blog.

Thank you both.

wondermachine, I use gouache, an opaque watercolor - though sometimes I use enough water with it that it becomes partly transparent. I wrote a post about my tools and materials a while ago - if you are interested, you'll find it here:

Ooh, thanks for that. I use mostly watercolor and one goache in my tray -- a light skin tone color I can't get with any watercolor. I'll check out your longer post about tools.
