tall ship

Looked out the window this morning and saw this tall ship at anchor in the distance, part way across the bay. Still there at nightfall. Perhaps I'll wake in time to see her under full sail.

This is so simple and beautiful...Wondered if that was where Maria was off to; I think it is so great that you can get together like this...

Just thought I would drop a note of appreciation. I found you through a post
on Christine Kane's blog and you are now on my Google Reader. I must say one of my favorites! It is such a pleasure to look at your artistry and creativity. I really enjoy your site!
Thank you!

Thank you all, and welcome.

Richard, Frank Zeier wrote a book on making books and boxes: Books, Boxes and Portfolios: Binding Construction and Design, Step by Step, translated from the German by Ingrid Li. That's about all I know about him - my mother owns the book and I've looked at it at my parents' house, which is where I ran across the quotation I have in the mix on my website's front page.
