almost home

Almost home. We've stopped for the night at my husband's sister's house, after eleven-and-a-half hours in the car. (Bad traffic in New York state.)

Your choice of placement on the paper is so fresh, so inspiring. Today, i drew a random overhead projector... and because of YOUR drawings, i actually drew it on a deliberate spot on the page. I am learning from you, and i love it!

11.5 hours in the car? Brave, brave, brave...

Drawing is so clear and so expressive. Love the tired "look" of the drawing.

wagonized, thank you! Early on, I decided to try to use the whole page - even when I'm not using it, if you know what I mean.

Ms. Jen - It really wasn't that bad. (Long, but not bad.) Mind you, I wasn't driving, just sitting as referee for the back seat. And all seemed worthwhile for an extra day with family and ocean.

and Tami, the tired part came pretty naturally at that point!
