house nextdoor

Trying to work more loosely today - the fact the the watercolor crayons began melting, crumbling, and breaking in the sun helped me stay away from close attachment to line. When the crayons became completely unworkable, I switched to gouache and waterbrush. A lovely warm day though, and enough breeze to keep me happy.

I was at your talk at BlogHer and taken by your commitment to make a painting each day. Quite inspirational! I've been enjoying your daily posts a lot and am wondering if you will eventually publish your paintings in a book. I know I'd buy it!

Thanks again for the inspiration.

Thanks so much, Robin. I've been thinking about putting together a book of selected days from my first year of drawing - I'll be sure to post about it when it is available.
