twilight

Twilight. Clouds, leafless maple, and electrical lines. With the equinox tomorrow, daylight continues to lengthen. This was painted well after six p.m.

Beautiful work here! My dad painted in watercolour when I was a young girl...it's my favorite. Thanks for adding me to your blogroll! I've linked over in my neck of the woods ;-D

You have a real knack for making the smallest and simplest elements look stunningly beautiful on the page and you don't overpower them with a lot of other detail. Some artists never get this. Well done.

I haven't checked in here for a couple of weeks. Your pages are gorgeous, and I love the surprise of going from minimalist one day - a single bamboo stalk - to the full painting at the top of the page. This is an absolute treat. Hope you have as much fun creating it as I have perusing it.

I especially like the subtle red and yellow ochres in the lower clouds.
