wooden clamp

This is a small wooden clamp - one of two from my grandfather's house. He believed in saving things and fixing them. I am better at the saving part than the fixing, though I have rewired our small coffee grinder on occasion.

That kind of conservation and preservation of old things is really admirable. Of course, things made back then were better made to begin with and weren't intended to be disposed of like today's VCRs and scanners. What a nice memory drawing this is of your grandfather.
