The lemon from a friend's driveway is now ripe yellow, and not so green. A cross-country trip in checked luggage does not seem to have hurt it. (And my clothing smells lemonlike...)
I wasn't thinking of "jar" in the sense of shaking, but today was a day with lots of travel in it, so that I could get from home to an out-of-town meeting, and then get home again. All in one day. Completely worth it. I'll be home for the rest of the week. Hooray.
These don't last long in our house... probably my favorite berry.
