First sign of spring in our yard: Abeliophyllum distichum, also called white forsythia or Korean abelia.  An undistinguished shrub for most of the year, it makes up for all that in March, when fragrant white blossoms arrive before the leaves.

I have yellow forsythia and at this time it is just starting to green up but no blooms, Thanks for the the winter jasmine which has started to bloom. The rendering is quite lovely. I purchased a note book to start drawing small and simple.

Nice job getting the light's highlight on the glass bottle.

How wonderful to have gotten a notebook! Have fun with the drawing...
