My daughter's boots.  New oil pastels, non-water-soluble. The colors are subtler than the set I had before. I wanted to move the colors around on the page, so I used a tissue and some vegetable oil. Next time I'm at the art store, I'll get some medium and some transparent blender and see how I like using those. New materials keep me experimenting - and are just the right kind of delight for winter.
