An unofficial household mascot, found face down in a snowdrift during the great blizzard of last February, is celebrating tonight's small storm. So far, we have a 2-hour delay called for school tomorrow. 3-6" snow forecast, with wind and increasing cold. Children and adults are hoping, hoping for a snow holiday...
And settled at home again, with time to catch up online. The pause was lovely, but I missed the reading and writing I do on various electronic devices. Web-connected pages don't replace books for me, but the wild variety of that endless magazine/newspaper/art show/encyclopedia amplifies and extends my experience of the world.
I will be mostly unplugged for the next day or so. I'm drawing, but I don't have an easy way to post. You might find the odd phonecam snap on Twitter, in the meantime. Will catch up here when I turn on the laptop again.
I like everything about the camera I got for my birthday last summer except the lens cap - which seems to pop off at the slightest touch.
