symphony tickets...

As you may know, I've been a regular blogger for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's website for the past two seasons.  It's been wonderful - they give me tickets to a concert, and I draw or paint something for their website. To close out this year, they've offered me an extra pair of tickets to give away.

If you can be in Pittsburgh on Saturday, June 5th, for the 2:30 performance, leave a comment on this post.  I'll draw a name from among the commenters at noon on Tuesday, June 1st, and let you know that your tickets will be waiting for you at the "will call" window.

Thanks for your continuing support and encouragement, and thanks to the Symphony for making these tickets available - I think the concert is sold out.

Wow, very cool drawing :) Wish I was in Pittsburg to attend the concert and see you draw :(

I would love to have the tickets!

Louie Beethoven's 9th, that's what I call culture "coming out of the woodwinds". I'll throw my ring into the hat!

I'm in - thanks!

We'd love to conduct ourselves downtown on the 5th! As the secretary at WQED-FM once say when she heard the Ninth being piped into the office, "Oh, listen the Anacin ad!" We'd be delighted to listen to the Ninth on Sixth!

I wish I could come but I have the Ellis play that weekend and we have to strike the set on Sunday. Best of luck to whomever gets the tickets.

I would love to have these tickets! Please consider me.

Rats! Take my name off, Liz. Let someone else get both tickets!

How delightful! I'm so pleased that I have now been introduced to your blog. I would love to take my sweetheart husband on a date to the symphony next weekend. I wrote a biography paper on Beethoven in the fifth grade, and have been a fan ever since:-) Thank you for sharing!

Would love to go... and to see your drawing afterwards!

OOoops! Take me off the list, please. We'll be in Buffalo at a dance competition for our girls. Home the winner has a great evening!

And as of noon today, 5 commenters were interested in tickets. I asked a colleague to pull a number out of a cup. (Drum roll...) And the number was five. A pair of tickets for Saturday afternoon's performance will be at will call for Kirsten Raether and a guest. Enjoy the concert!
