Quiet house - people asleep or reading. When I draw with white china marker on white paper, the waxy white line is almost invisible until I paint over it. That loss of control adds surprise, challenge, delight, irritation, and shakes me out of my previous way of thinking.

As a child I had some kind of playbooks. They had only white empty pages but if you draw with a pencil about the surface of a page white lined drawings of fairy tale illustrations were revealed like magic. I couldnĀ“t stop drawing because I wanted to see what is hidden "in" the pages. If those books were still available I would buy one for myself. Just for playing.

LOVE THIS, E!
here's to playing some more. ;)
