two bottles

We have two nearly empty bottles of generic nail polish remover. This afternoon I tried to make image transfers onto cloth: newspaper photos worked fine, my own drawings - which had been copied with a laser printer - did not. Wrong kind of printer toner, I guess. Youngest member of the family painted her toenails purple, and the remover helped with cleaning up after that as well. Good thing it's summer and we can open lots of windows.

Is your nail polish remover mostly acetone? It should work with the laser toner. Won't work with inkjet.

I thought my office Laser Jet printer used laser toner. The "Jet" in the name should have tipped me off, though. Bet it's actually inkjet. I may try a fresh photocopy instead, and see how that goes tonight.

Use a photocopy machine. It works with that.
