Took the train from Pittsburgh to Boston today, and this is how the landscape looked between Philadelphia and Trenton.

So did you just draw this from memory as you were moving, or did the train stop to let you draw it?

This is a composite view from a combination of observation and memory: I looked at a building, remembered it, painted it in, chose another building, and so on...

Love this painting! I used to take the train from NYC to DC and you're right on the money, that's what it looks like from Trenton to Philly. Brought back fond memories, thanks!

It looks great, but that scene is pretty vague. It could be anywhere in the US.
