garland

Improvised garland-making for a snowy evening: materials were dental floss and colored office-supply dot stickers. (You put a pair of the stickers together, with the floss in the middle.) Minty-smelling and surprisingly festive.

I think it's lovely!

Aw, lovely. My sons and home daycare kids made a similar decoration (without any prompting or instructions) with a ball of crochet thread I had bought at a yard sale, and cheap stickers from a dollar store.

The activity kept them occupied for quite awhile (until the stickers ran out), and the garland was looped all over the playroom for days.

Until I saw this, I had forgotten those times.

Thanks for the memory :)
