A Pink Pearl eraser, found between the sofa cushions yesterday.

Your eraser makes me think of a technique used by an art teacher friend - she "draws" her preliminary layout on her watercolor paper with a pink pearl eraser. Then she follows the pink "crumbs" lightly with her soft drawing pencil, blows away the crumbs, and starts painting. It is easier to brush away a few crumbs when working out a composition than it is to erase a lot of pencil.
I love your compositions by the way. I check every day to see where you've placed your subject on the page. Nice!

Thanks, Catherine. "In and Out of the Studio" is one of my regular reads - I'm delighted to find you visiting!
