hello kitty



Someone - not me - scotch-taped a hula hello kitty keychain to the dining room mantelpiece.


What a lovely work of serendipity. It makes you wonder how the kitty got there and whether she becomes animated when the lights go off.

Not that I'm a fan of Hello Kitty, but: what a sad fate to befall her. All that pent-up rage? All that rejection? We never knew. I wish we had.

It must have been Mark.

What a beautiful blog. I love your work! The two city pieces, "the point" and "sunset" are my favorite.

A little detective work (and direct questioning) revealed that it was the idea of the youngest person in the house. She felt that "something Hawaiian" would go well there, and she used the materials she had available...
