China marker used for double-blind contour drawing of a wine glass. (Double blind, because even if I look, I can't really see the white marks on white paper.) Washes of gouache added afterwards.

Cool! The ghostly quality of this image is particularly suited to the season. :-)

Elizabeth, I really love how this came out.

It was such fun to do, too. I will probably return to this method - a very freeing way to draw. Just china marker - though white wax crayon would probably work as well - and then afterwards, washes of color show you where your marks were.
