New paper makes all my other materials seem new again - what a treat. Everything works just slightly differently. This is pen and watercolor crayon. The crayon feels more opaque, more stuck to the paper. Maybe it's the absence of that Moleskine sizing? The crayon is also more responsive to the waterbrush - I feel as if I have finer-grained control. I'll be interested to see how my work develops in response to this paper during the year...


I bet the paper is going to make a world of difference--you can see that in this sketch. I think you fought a valiant fight against the properties of Moleksine paper last year, but now you won't have to. I'll enjoy following your progress!
