apple on towel

This is the time for local apples. Small, intense, blemished, amazing - they can taste the way you imagine apples ought to taste. I forget that I like apples until the fall, and then I like them all over again. Every year.

Today, drawing at a sandwich shop with a friend who lurks at EDM, I purposely did a Moleskine drawing of my tiny custom-made paintbox in an Altoids tin with composition like yours--putting it in the lower right corner and leaving the rest blank. I loved it! (But feel I need to USE all that open space . . .)

but you inspire me :-)
