brass hand

Part of a door knocker, I think - found in an antique/junk store in rural Turkey. I do like hands. Realized after drawing and painting this, that I don't often get to draw a left hand.

On the facing page, the veins of yesterday's leaf show as ghostlike traces from the day before.

Once again, I admire your blue (turquoise) outlining of the image---stunning. This sketch reminds me that I have a hand and arm from an old wooden marionette that I've been meaning to draw. It would make a great companion for your doorknocker drawing ;D.

Can't wait to see it!
