change of view

When I'm stuck or feeling overwhelmed, I've found it makes a great deal of difference if I sweep all the random files from my computer desktop into a few folders and then change the desktop background photo. (I know it's a form of procrastination. I don't do this with my physical desk, though I imagine it would work the same way.) The right photo can reset my mood and renew my energy.  I particularly like images with windows or sky.

I think this really makes sense. People (myself includet) underestimate what they can accomplish with their mindsets and thinking habits alone. It has to do with creating instead of reacting.
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts and ideas. Coming here is always very valueable for me.

The image made me gasp. I imagine this is your view from your window...and then I saw the tiny files folders below. Hm, perhaps she took the photo & now uses it as a screensaver, too - is what the next thought was. ^_^

I, too, love the water and if I can get that outside my window, ahhh!
